The Cricket Empowerment Company - Service Cancellation Policy (United Kingdom)

1. Introduction

At The Cricket Empowerment Company, we value our customers and strive to provide the best possible services. We understand that circumstances may change, and you may need to cancel the services you have availed. This cancellation policy outlines the guidelines and procedures for cancelling services offered by The Cricket Empowerment Company.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all services provided by The Cricket Empowerment Company to customers within the United Kingdom.

3. Cancellation Rights

Customers have the right to cancel their services in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Under these regulations, customers have 14 calendar days from the date the service contract was entered into to cancel without providing any reason.

4. Exceptions to the Cancellation Right

The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 provide exceptions where the right to cancel does not apply. These exceptions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Services that have been fully performed within the 14-day cancellation period with the customer's prior consent.

  2. Services where performance has begun, with the customer's agreement, before the end of the 14-day cancellation period.

  3. Urgent service requests made by the customer before the end of the 14-day cancellation period, which require immediate performance and have the customer's express consent.

  4. When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to our other clients. Therefore, you will need to inform us about a cancellation at least 48 hours before the session is meant to commence, in order to receive a 50% credit note that will roll over onto the next booking. No refund will be provided for cancellations made after the 48-hour period, prior to the session commencing.

5. How to Cancel

Customers who wish to cancel their services must notify Cricket Empowerment Company in writing, either by email or physical mail, stating their intention to cancel the service. The cancellation request must include the following details:

  1. Customer's full name

  2. Customer's address

  3. Customer's contact information (email and phone number)

  4. Service order/contract reference number

  5. Date of the cancellation request

6. Refund Policy

If the customer cancels the service within the 14-day cancellation period and the service has not been fully performed, Cricket Empowerment Company will provide a full refund within 14 days of receiving the cancellation request. The refund will be made using the same payment method used by the customer for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

7. Cancellation After the Cooling-off Period

After the 14-day cooling-off period has expired, cancellation requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis. In such cases, customers may be subject to certain cancellation fees or charges depending on the stage of the service provision and the terms outlined in their service contract.

8. Cancellation Charges

If cancellation fees or charges apply, these will be clearly outlined in the service contract agreed upon with the customer at the time of service registration. The cancellation charges will be communicated to the customer upon receiving the cancellation request.

9. Service Termination by Cricket Empowerment Company

The Cricket Empowerment Company reserves the right to terminate the provision of services to customers in cases of non-compliance with the terms and conditions of the service contract. In such instances, customers will be notified of the termination and any applicable refund, if applicable, will be provided according to the terms outlined in the service contract.

10. Changes to the Cancellation Policy

Cricket Empowerment Company may update or modify this cancellation policy from time to time to comply with changes in laws and regulations or to improve customer experience. Any changes will be communicated to customers through our website or other appropriate means.
