Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What should I bring with me?
A. Please bring sportswear suitable for indoor and outdoor, appropriate footwear (no spikes permitted) and any required medication e.g. asthma pumps. If you have your kit please bring it along as we may play hardball cricket. If you don't, no worries, we have got your back- see our CEC Kit Hire page.

Q. What should my child wear?
A. Please wear sportswear and sports footwear (no spikes) that are suitable for taking part in sports activities, and items that you don't mind getting dirty. We sometimes have themed parties, and will email parents/carers with information ahead of the event - typically these will be items you will already have in your wardrobe!

Q. What food is provided?
A. With gratitude to our sponsors, a lunch pack which will contain a sandwich, snack, fruit and drink (subject to change) is provided. For all those who have specific dietary requirements, please state this in the registration form so that we can do our best to cater - in case we cannot, please be open to bringing your own lunch. Ramadan Fasting: a private space is available for prayer as well as for our Muslim community to sit aside with one of our Coaches during lunch hour.

A. CEC values the diversity and strength that each member brings to our cricketing family. This Ramadan, let us strengthen our bonds, foster compassion, and support one another on and off the field. We have a private space available for prayer and to honour the Fast of those children who are fasting during this Holy month, please speak to our staff or make this requirement clear in the registration form.

Q. Can parents stay?
A. No. Our camps are strictly for children! Rest assured your child is in safe and trusted hands. For further information please see our website for our safeguarding policy. Please arrive back at least 10 minutes before the end of the session.

Q. How long is Easter Camp for?
A. Typically, Cricket camps are 5 hours per day, from 9.00am - 2.00pm You can arrive up to 15 mins before the camp starts and we require you to arrive at least 10 minutes before the camp ends.

Q. Where do I go on the day?
A. Follow the flags to the back of the school to locate the sports hall entrance. Follow Cricket Empowerment Company signs to find your coaches and peer group. If, on the rare occasion, there are no signs then one of our coaches will be standing at the front to meet you.

Q. Is there parking on site?
A. There is free parking onsite in a designated area outside the sports hall. Please adhere to the speed limits and respect all parts of the property at all times.

Q. Do you have changing facilities?
A. There are changing room facilities on site. Please ensure your child comes dressed in the correct sportswear for the service booked. There are lavatory facilities on site.

Q. Do you have private space?
A. We have a private place which is reserved for anyone wanting to have some time alone or in peace and quiet for reflection or prayer.

Q. Important Heads Up - Prize day for the CEC kids?
A. We have a prize giveaway for our CEC kids on the last day of camp so we are just prewiring you they may be having such a good time that there is a chance that we may be overrunning on the last day of camp!

Q. Do you run a girls-only session?
A. The camp sessions are mixed, but if you are interested in girls-only weekly training OR girls-only private coaching then please enquire here.

Q. How do I pay?
A. You can purchase your sessions via our online payment system, debit/credit cards are accepted including Apple Pay & Google Pay.

Q. Is there a discount if I want to take two children to the same session?
A. We offer discounts across our membership that boast savings on private coaching, holiday camps and more. Please see our membership application for details on discounts and savings.

Q. What age does CEC Easter Camp cater for?
A. We cater for all gender identities between 7-14 yrs of age.
